🔘 LINER NOTES

On the 19th of February 2022, Big Sky Country played a career spanning set at Esbjerg Bryghus, a local brewpub, in the heart of their hometown of Esbjerg.

The makeshift venue was filled to the brim and the air was electric. This was the first concert after the Covid-19 lockdowns, and it was also the first time the new material from "Autumn of Love" was being played live.

To truly celebrate the singer-songwriters of the 60s and 70s, Big Sky Country chose to perform two cover songs. The first "Between Clark and Hilldale, by the legendary Los Angeles outfit Love, is taken from their capstone album "Forever Changes".

The other, and also the album closer, "Lykkens Pamfil" is by the mythical Danish hippie band Steppeulvene and is taken from their only album "Hip".

Both songs and albums were released in 1967 and are consciously chosen to showcase the differences and similarities in what went on musically at the time across the globe.

We hope that you enjoy Big Sky Country live at Esbjerg Bryghus - we certainly did!
