Blaze 04:26
Face the setting sun With my thoughts on the run Be the one to set the scene Don’t know where to begin Can’t say where I have been It’s a mystery to me Take a walk outside Try to clear up my mind Be the one to break the mold When I know what I know And I owe what I owe Then it’s no feat feeling old Oh, blue Don’t you long for the days When each day did amaze Long before the touch of grey Oh, blue See the light slowly fade With each calendar page Yet a turn of yet a tide So help me sing: "la, la, la!" Here I go out again Change the shape that I’m in Be the one to rule the game Yes, the problem with me Is the problem with you We both want to, but we can’t change Start all over again Sing a song with a friend As the night turns to day See the leaf hanging proud See the leaf falling down See the leaf is on the ground Oh, blue Don’t you know everyone Has their day in the sun Then a lifetime clinging on Oh, blue We might just be the proof That the search of some truth Is what cost us both our youth So help me sing: "la, la, la!" Why don’t you go outside? Oh, just for a while now, child Oh, just for a while now, child Oh, why don’t you go?

How High 02:38
Tell me how high And I’ll tell you how low How fast and how slow I think it should go Show me how much And I’ll tell you the cost The profits and loss And if you worry too much Always lingering on Biding time in the same mind In a try for the sun Or racing, facing the undone New as dew is the day Glad to be among the living Silver moon hanging high Glowing Tell me how high And I’ll tell you how low How fast and how slow I think it should go Show me how much And I’ll tell you the cost The profits and loss And if you worry too much

Heel Turn 03:35
Through the day to the night Never one to act surprised I never really realized You were always there to lead the way From my youth to my climb Never one to trace the time I never really made it rhyme You were always there to lead the way Heel turn Turn around Turn around now Heel turn Turn around Turn around now You turn around now You turn around now Now that life is moving past See the sky is overcast I never really made it last You were always there to lead the way Heel turn Turn around Turn around now Heel turn Turn around Turn around now You turn around now You turn around now

Powderfinger 03:28
Look out, Mama, there's a white boat coming up the river With a big red beacon, and a flag, and a man on the rail I think you'd better call John Because it don't look like they're here to deliver the mail And it's less than a mile away I hope they didn't come to stay It's got numbers on the side and a gun And it's making big waves Daddy's gone, my brother's out hunting in the mountains Big John's been drinking since the river took Emmy-Lou So the Powers That Be left me here to do the thinkin' And I just turned twenty-two I was wondering what to do And the closer they got The more those feelings grew Daddy's rifle in my hand felt reassuring He said, Red means run, son, numbers add up to nothing But when the first shot hit the docks I saw it coming Raised my rifle to my eye Never stopped to wonder why Then I saw black And my face splashed in the sky Shelter me from the powder and the finger Cover me with the thought that pulled the trigger Think of me as one you'd never figured Would fade away so young With so much left undone Remember me to my love I know I'll miss her

🔘 ABOUT

At the end of September 2019, Mads and Philip lodged themselves in one of Esbjerg's (their hometown) oldest attics in the heart of the city. Here they spent three days with two guitars, four microphones and two cameras to record a few acoustic and intimate versions of songs from their upcoming LP3.

In three days about 45,6 mm of rain fell, about three liters of Mexican Chiapas-coffee was enjoyed and over five hours of raw material was recorded. Out of the five hours we selected the best sounding versions and put them through the machine. Mads and Philip were actually so exited by the whole experience that they also recorded a cover song - "Powderfinger" by Neil Young is one of their personal favorites.

The track "How High" was first released in the summer of 2016 as a b-side to the their single "Stay In The Sun". "Powderfinger" is originally by Neil Young and has long been a band favorite to perform at live shows - now finally recorded, after all these years.

Everything you hear (and see) is 100% live - of course!
